Brandt Hollander

Brandt leverages over a decade of experience as an attorney, broker, and investor to guide clients through a variety of complex real estate transactions. Brandt brings a practical, business-oriented approach to helping clients execute transactions in multifaceted, rapidly changing environments.

Brandt represents REITs, privately held companies, family offices, and high-net-worth individuals in a wide variety of commercial real estate matters, from purchase and sale transactions, leases, syndications, joint ventures, and debt financings to construction and design agreements and matters related to property and asset management. He also advises clients in connection with the resolution of disputes, especially in the landlord/tenant, construction, and partnership contexts.

Prior to founding Hollander PLLC, Brandt was a partner at Harvest LLP. Earlier in his career, Brandt practiced at the law firms of Dain Torpy, Elkins Kalt, and Goodwin Procter. He attended UCLA Law School where he was a Peter Bren Distinguished Fellow in Entrepreneurial Real Estate, the president of the Real Estate Law Association, and a co-chair of the Skid Row Housing Clinic. Prior to law school, Brandt was a real estate agent at A.C. Lawrence & Co. and attended Yale University where he captained the varsity football team.

Brandt sits on the Foundation for MetroWest Corporate Philanthropy Advisory Board and the board of the UCLA Real Estate Alumni Group (“REAG”). He is also a member of REAG’s Endowment circle, the Real Estate Finance Association, the Massachusetts Real Estate Bar Association, and the Massachusetts Bar Association. Brandt is a prior recipient of the Connect CRE Lawyers in Real Estate Award. Brandt is licensed to practice in Massachusetts and California.

Brandt lives in Natick with his wife Suzanne and their two children.

Eugene C. Hollander

Gene Hollander is a seasoned litigator with more than 50 years of experience representing clients in complex civil and criminal matters

Throughout his career, Gene has built a reputation for his strategic thinking, thorough preparation, and dedication to achieving favorable outcomes for his clients. He represents individuals, businesses, and organizations in a broad range of disputes, from high-stakes litigation to sensitive negotiations. Clients appreciate his practical advice, and ability to navigate difficult legal and factual issues with experience, creativity and focus.

Gene’s litigation experience includes matters involving breach of contract, partnership disputes, landlord tenant disputes and a variety of other civil and criminal matters. He handles cases from inception through trial, appeal, and judgment enforcement, and has appeared before state, federal, and appellate courts across jurisdictions.

Gene’s  decades of legal experience give him a unique perspective and insight regarding the legal profession, and the practice of law. He is committed to protecting his clients’ interests—both in and out of the courtroom. Gene is admitted to practice in Indiana and is currently practicing in Massachusetts under the supervision of a member of the Massachusetts Bar.

Sarah Zide

Sarah joined Hollander Law as a paralegal in 2025. She graduated from Syracuse University in May of 2024 with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Political Science. Prior to joining Hollander, Sarah worked at a Boston-based law firm where she assisted with estate and probate cases. She hopes to attend law school in the future and is gaining valuable legal experience during her time at Hollander.
